The Carolina provides 25% more radiant heat than metal fireplaces thanks to its FireBrick™ technology, so it will keep you warmer than toast. It also has the IntelliFire Plus ignition system, which provides energy conservation and works during power failures thanks to its battery backup system. The fireplace comes standard with stainless steel screens and grates and weather resistant gas logs and is UL listed. It offers 50,000 to 55,000 BTUs to heat any space up to 2000 sq. ft. nicely.
